I had a 10' flat line from Palomine lines, and while it was great, it turned out to be a bit long for me. I really wanted to try an 8', so I bought this round one. This one is perfect for me and my dog! We use it for nosework (not competition, just for fun.) The quality is excellent. I also really love the bright neon orange color! He's 14lbs and it's not too heavy or bulky for him.
Hi Kacee! We're glad to hear you and your dog are loving the new leash. Sometimes a change in length or profile can make a big difference in a dog's behavior. Thank you so much for sharing your experience and kind words about the quality and color. Happy nose work adventures!
Perfect for scent work. Light weight flexible perfect length. So much easier to handle than my flat 1” wide nylon one I had been using. And it is lighter on my dog as well with a nice small buckle. It doesn’t distract for the work.
Hi Tonya, it is so nice to hear you are happy with your new BioThane leash for scent work. We agree that the light weight and flexibility of BioThane is much easier to handle than nylon. Thanks for sharing your experience and for choosing Palomine Lines. Best of luck to you and your canine partner in scent work!
I have purchased 3 other of your leashes...love them all! This last one is for my newest rescue, so I bought her the magenta colored one, perfect for her white/silver fur!
Hi Barbara! We're so happy to hear you love our leashes. We agree, the magenta BioThane line looks great on your newest rescue and it looks the perfect match for her harness. Thank you for the pics of her working her nose, and for your repeat business. Best of luck to you and your lucky rescues in all of your endeavors.
great products, easier walks
Hi Justin, we're happy to hear the 5/8' Biothane Leash is giving you easier walks. Thank you for your order, and your review. Best to you and yours.
I love the 8 foot length. It allows Toby to walk as fast as he wants, and I can walk at my normal pace. I am sure it will be much better for nosework than the standard 6 foot lead I have used for years. Great quality!
Thank you for your review, Christia. We're happy Toby gets to walk as fast as he wants with the longer leash! Win-win for you when you can walk at your normal pace. We feel confident Toby will sniff his way to success at his next nose work session. Best to you both!
The leash is well-made and comfortable to use. I love the big looped handle that provides flexibility in how I grab onto it. Mahalo.
Hi Patricia, thank you so much for your kind words! We're happy to hear you love BioThane 5/16' round leash and find it comfortable to use. Mahalo for your support!
Excellent product. Works well for my dog.
Thank you for taking the time to post a review; we appreciate it. We're happy to hear the 1/2" x 30-ft BioThane long line is working well for your dog! Best regards to you and yours.
I now have 5 of these leashes, of different sizes and lengths. They hold up and are amazing. I love that they slide through my hands while working my dog and don't get hung up.
Hi there! Thank you for your kind review. It sounds like you and your dog like to work on different things, and we are pleased that the different sizes and lengths are helpful for you. We appreciate you and your repeat business, and hope to 'see' you again! We wish you the best in all your canine endeavors.
Fast delivery, perfect color and light weight. My second Palomine lead!
Thank you for your review, Jan. We're happy to hear the 1/2-in. BioThane leash was the perfect color and your received it quickly. We appreciate you and your repeat business. Best to you and yours.
I absolutely love this product, this is my second one. My first one is still going strong after two years, but it is longer and I bought this one with specific purpose in mind. This leash is worth every penny I spend on it! When hiking in the winter snow, it never gets wet and can easily be put in my pack or pocket.
Randy, thank you for your kind review; we appreciate it! It means a lot to us that your longer line is still going strong after two years, and that you thought of us when you decided to get a shorter one. We have always enjoyed the stillness of a snowy hike; there is nothing like it. Happy hiking to you and yours!
Been using these products for almost 15 years. Excellent quality. Perfect for training and every day use. Easy to clean if they get dirty. Love the many different color, length, and clasp options. Will always use Palomine Lines

Hi Katie, we love to hear our BioThane long lines are used for your decompression walks. Thank you for taking the time to post a review, and for the kind words. Best to you and yours!
I like biothane for it's soft feel, easy cleaning and great colors. I got the 15' leash for our new puppy so she can run and play. We have some gaps under the gates that she could slip through, so keeping her leashed in the yard is important. The 3/8" size it light enough it doesn't hold her back
Thank you, Deborah. We are happy to hear your 15' BioThane leash is keeping your pup safe, while giving her a sense of freedom. Win-win! Best to you and your puppy!
We’ve been using these leashes for over 10 years with all our large breed dogs. Great quality and many colors to choose from.
Hi Jennifer, we're thrilled to hear you've loved our leashes for over a decade! Thanks so much for your continued support and kind words. We appreciate you sharing your experience and love the pic of your pack with scarves and coordinating Palomine Lines' BioThane leashes!
I love the round BioThane leashes. I have them in several different lengths.
Thank you for taking the time to post a review. It is so good to hear you love your round BioThane leashes. Best regards from all of us at Palomine!
This is our second BioThane leash, on is 10' for around the house and the other is 50' so we can go on walks in the woods and be sort of semi-off-leash. They work so well! I am a therapist and sometimes my not-yet-fully-trained-therapy-dog hangs out in the office with me, and I need something flexible and low profile. They have been perfect for us.
Hi Lara, thank you so much for sharing your experience! We're thrilled to hear our leashes are working perfectly for you and your soon-to-be fully-trained-therapy-dog. Wishing you many more happy hikes together!
I haven't used the long lines yet - I purchased them for a trip we're taking in September. But I have several of your leashes and love them so I'm sure the long lines will be perfect. I also feel that they're very reasonably priced for the excellent quality.
Hi JC, thank you so much for your kind words! It warms our hearts to hear you love our leashes and that you're happy with the quality and pricing. Safe travels!

I wanted a longer leash that wasn't heavy and wouldn't drag too much on my small dog. This one is just perfect! Lightweight, high quality, so many options for features, and it arrived very quickly. Will absolutely be recommending!
