Our lines
and leads are manufactured using synthetic material that is superior to leather in strength and durability. They can
be dragged through the mud and used on a rainy day. To clean, simply wipe with a damp cloth. They do not require
oiling like leather lines. In addition, unlike leather that takes months to become supple, our tracking lines are
supple from the beginning. Whether you're training for a TD, TDX, or VST, our lines are a good choice to add to your
tracking equipment. The bolt snaps used are bronze and are the best on the market. All products are double-riveted with brass rivets. Tracking lines may be riveted at 20', the minimum distance a handler can be from the dog during AKC tracking tests (TD) and/or 10' for Variable Surface Tracks (VST). A handler can easily tell when they are at the correct distance from their dog when the rivet(s) slide through their hands. Lines and Leads
are available in either 3/8"- or 1/2"-wide sizes. Our lines are available in brown, black, red, and
blue. Our 1/2"-wide lines are also available in violet. Custom orders are accepted. Length and placement of rivets can be changed to your specifications.
